A call tells you what someone says. It can't remember how they said it last month. Cogease turns a thirty-second daily voice note into a steady record of pace, pauses and steadiness over time — yours to keep, and yours to share with the people who look out for you.
Good morning, Margaret
A day. A ritual, not a test — most people finish before the kettle boils.
Moments in a year of notes. A weekly phone call gives you 52 — and keeps none of them.
Yours. Your recordings, your pattern — shared only when you say so, with who you say.
Why Now
Families are further apart than they've ever been — across states, time zones and packed calendars. The love hasn't gone anywhere. The minutes have.
Americans will be 65 or older by 2030 — more of us than ever with someone we want to stay close to.
American adults now looks out for someone — most while juggling work, children and lives of their own.
adults over 50 says they feel lonely — an epidemic serious enough that the U.S. Surgeon General compares its toll to smoking.
A daily call for everyone isn't realistic. A daily moment is. Thirty seconds of a voice you love, at a time that suits you both — that's a closeness busy lives can actually keep. And hearing from someone who cares, every single day, is the oldest answer to a lonely one there is.
How It Works
Not a test. Not homework. A moment with someone you'd want to talk to anyway.
Cogease asks something easy — what you're looking forward to, or how you'd make a cup of tea. You talk for about half a minute. There's nothing to remember and nothing to get wrong.
Share it with a daughter, a friend, a neighbour — whoever you choose. They tap a link and hear your voice, with no app to install and no account to create. Or keep it private. That choice is yours every single time.
Each note adds a page. Over weeks, Cogease shows how steady your voice and movement have been against your own earlier recordings — the kind of picture no single call, visit or good day can give.
The Honest Question
You should. Keep calling. But distance hides gradual change — and a call, however loving, has three blind spots a daily note doesn't.
One moment, on one day — often a good day, at everyone's best. Thirty seconds a day builds an album. Albums show what snapshots can't.
Nobody can hold last month's conversation in their head and compare it to today's. Cogease remembers the pace, the pauses, the steadiness — precisely, without judging.
Tired, rushed, distracted — every call is different, so nothing compares cleanly. A daily note at a quiet moment is like-for-like, day after day. That's what makes a pattern trustworthy.
The Product
Most apps ask you to take a daily test. Nobody keeps that up. Cogease hides the diligence inside a moment you'd want anyway.
Cogease asks you to talk to someone instead. The measurement happens quietly underneath, while you're doing something you'd want to do anyway.
Speaking freely also tells us more than reading a script does — it's your own words, your own pace, your own way of putting a thought together.
What are you looking forward to this week?
After every recording you choose — send it, keep it to yourself, or delete it entirely. Nothing is shared unless you say so.
And whoever receives your note hears exactly that: your voice. Never a score, never a trend, never anything about how you're doing. That information stays yours alone.
What would you like to do?
Cogease learns what's ordinary for you, then shows how steady things have been since. There's no norm you're being measured against and no one else's numbers involved.
Everyone has better days and worse ones. What's interesting isn't a single number — it's the pattern over time, and what your steadier weeks have in common.
If someone looks out for you — a daughter three states away, a son who calls on Sundays — you can choose to let them see your pattern, not just hear your notes.
That choice belongs to the person doing the recording, always. It can be turned on deliberately, turned off any time, and until then the listener hears your voice and nothing more. Reassurance, offered — never surveillance, imposed.

Privacy & Trust
A voice recording is personal. We treat it that way — and we tell you exactly what happens to it before you record anything at all.
We don't sell, rent or trade your voice or anything derived from it. That isn't a policy we could quietly change later — it's the basis the product is built on.
Your recordings go to the person you name and nobody else. Not to advertisers, not to analytics services, not into anyone else's dashboard.
Remove a single recording or your whole account whenever you like. The audio file is destroyed, not hidden from view.
You see exactly what's collected, why, how long it's kept and who can hear it — before your first recording, in plain language.
Export your data whenever you want. Close your account and everything is permanently removed within thirty days.
Cogease is not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose, detect, treat or prevent anything, and it's never a substitute for talking to your doctor.
About Cogease
Tools that ask people to test themselves daily tend to be abandoned within weeks — and the people most likely to abandon them are often the ones who'd benefit most from sticking with it. We think that's a design problem, not a discipline problem.
People will happily do something small every day if it means something to them. A note to a daughter means something. A daily test does not. So we built the thing people would actually keep doing, and let the measurement ride quietly along with it.
Founder
Cogease comes from more than thirty years working with health technology companies across twenty-one countries — and from a simple observation: the people who most need to stay connected and pay attention to how they're doing are often the least well served by tools that feel like tests.
Cogease is built on the opposite premise. Give someone a reason to pick up their phone that has nothing to do with being assessed, and the rest can happen quietly in the background.
FAQ
Not unless you choose to show them. By default they hear your voice note and nothing else — no score, no trends. Sharing your pattern is a separate, deliberate choice that you make, can limit, and can withdraw at any time.
Keep doing both — Cogease isn't a replacement for talking. What a call can't do is remember. Each Cogease note is taken the same way at a quiet moment, so over weeks it builds a like-for-like record of pace, pauses and steadiness that no series of phone calls can match.
No. They receive an email with a link, tap it, and your note plays. No account, no app, no sign-up.
Then don't. You can record and keep it private, or delete it entirely. Recording and sending are always separate choices.
